March

Welcome to March, it’s that time of the year that plants are starting to bloom, grass is waking up, and the weeds are trying their best to overtake everything. Over the past several years our sycamore tree has been declining in health. We had an arborist come out and take a look at it. They confirmed it was not healthy and would be better to have it removed. As I was sharing about this to a brother, he started to smile, and I knew there was more. And there was. Several years back, an arborist came out to trim branches. At that time the arborist said it should come down and not just be trimmed. Fast forward several more years and we need to take it down. Sometime this month it will be coming down to protect anyone that walks under it and to protect the building.

Our second to last big project will be the painting of Oneg fellowship room and replacing the blinds on the Oneg windows and the kitchen window. With prayer the sign out front will be the last project completed at the end of this month ~ Praise Yeshua! We will be hanging door hangers as soon as the sign goes up, if you are looking to get some steps in, this would be a good way to do it!

Spring is just around the corner with the sign soon in place we are looking to have more families visit with us and hopefully God leads them to stay and become a part of us. I believe that we have a work to do in this community, the larger picture starts with little steps, as we will be faithful in a little, He will give us more to be faithful in. Your faces here on Shabbat encourage me to keep on working through the tuff things thrown our way. I know that our God is always working on our behalf! I don’t believe we know everything that He is doing for us, because, we don’t always see it. We do know, what we can see, and He has helped us get over more than a few obstacles ~ Thank you Father!

As we are digging into intercessory prayer, we are learning that most of us have been praying in this manner without really knowing it. You see when we pray for others it’s a type of intercessory. We are praying on others behalf. This is the basis of prayer in this way. We are learning that it does get deeper, and we are looking to learn more. On Wednesday’s we start at 3PM and usually finish up around 5PM. We are using this time as it gets dark early and some don’t like to drive at night. We would love to see you there.

We also have a Men’s and Women’s group that meet every other Tuesday!! This month it will be the 11th and the 25th. Oneg is the 1st and the 3rd Shabbat of the month, the next Oneg will be on the 15th. We had some good food on the first one, It will be hard to top that one.

On Friday the 14th, @ 6:30 PM we will have a Service for “Purim”. We will have some fun and treats afterwards. Come and get ready to make some noise!

Friday evenings we are studying Hebrews, we are in Chapter 12. One chapter to go, chapter 13. After we finish chapter 13, we will be praying about where God wants us to go next.

As always, we enjoy seeing each of you being obedient and digging into His word!

Love in Christ
