October Newsletter

Shalom, Shalom, October is here and I for one am looking for cooler temperatures, or at least cooler nights! A morning campfire is on the horizon. And there is something else on the horizon, October 2nd is the first fall feast days! We will have our Yom Teruah “Feast of Trumpets” and Rosh Hashanah service. Following we will have a time of fellowship and some sweet treats!

We have just come through hurricane Helene, we didn’t get much rain here in Ocala, but further north, there have been many roads washed out and entire communities devastated. Please keep those people in prayer as many people’s lives have changed, many will not recover to former living. Also, we want to keep our first responders in prayer as many of them are putting their lives in harms way to help total strangers. Here at home, we were without power and were not able to hold Shabbat service. A day of true rest, prayer and family. We lost some food items and a gutter. This is nothing compared to what others are going through. We would like to take up a love offering to help those to our west. If you are inclined to give a love offering to go to the people in Cedar Key we will be taking donations and sending them to a church in Cedar Key as they know best what is needed. Also, sending money to them is better than us bringing things to them as crews are working to restore infrastructure.

The power company has finally finished up replacing the older wooden poles with metal ones out front. We have asked them to restore the field back to the way it was. Please come beside us in prayer that they follow through. We will be painting the fellowship room and conference room, anyone looking to help, please let us know. If there is an afternoon or evening that works for you to help with cleaning, please let me know. This is a house of prayer, and worship to our King. It belongs to our Messiah, He has given us all a great place to come together and worship Him, we all need to be good stewards of it. We are seeing our Messiah work in leadership and we are coming to Him in prayer for the next season. We are excited to be a part of what He is doing here!

In love - Pastor Tim
